About Us

Karma Yoga( Selflessact) is into community relief service inspired by the rough times during lockdown!!

The start of KARMAYOGA SELFLESSACT was conceptualised with the intention to distribute food boxes to migrates and all others who needed during lockdown. It started in Aug 2020 during Janmashtmi when the nation was under strict lockdown and our team did the research to reaching out to such families and decided to sponsor meals for them .Since then through crowd funding we have distributed cooked meals , sweets, , grocery kits,stationary kits , sleeping mats, umbrellas , slippers , blankets, clothes and other essentials on various occasions in the remote areas of Mumbai , Vrindavan , Varanasi and Ayodhya .Our endeavor is to increase our reach further with our relief work and also now focus on enabling people by providing them with vocational training which will enhance their skill set and open up employment opportunities making them independent.

Relief Work

We have provided cooked meals to migrants and all others who needed during pandemic with utmost food hygiene.

Education Sector

There were many people who lost jobs during pandemic due to which parents were not able to pay the school fee

One Stitch

Under this project we run stitching courses for men and women and migrants aspiring to find some work .

White Collar

As part of our project, we offer vocational training programs to underprivileged children, aiming to equip them with the necessary skills for employment in corporate sectors.

Bhaktiyogaforyou

Through our this initiative we want to spread spiritualism in society from teachings of Bhagava Gita so that people understand the true purpose of their life and embark on their journey back to their home.

Devotional Picnic

We want to spread the knowledge of Bhagavad Gita as much as possible . We will be running Bhagavad Gita seminars in rural areas to build their spiritual knowledge

During the pandemic, we prioritized providing cooked meals to migrants and those in need, ensuring strict food hygiene. This initiative extended across multiple slums in Mumbai, offering crucial support during challenging times. Additionally, we celebrated various festivals by offering festive meals and sweet boxes, spreading joy in slums across Mumbai, Varanasi, and Vrindavan. Recognizing the impact of job losses, we also distributed monthly grocery kits to individuals in slums, orphanages, and old age homes. As winter approached, we provided blankets to slums, road dwellers, ashrams, and care facilities, while also supplying winter jackets to children in Vrindavan. To assist those sleeping on the streets, we distributed sleeping mats in Mumbai and Varanasi. Another initiative focused on providing footwear to underprivileged children and adults in Mumbai’s streets, slums, and construction sites. we distributed umbrellas to domestic help, security staff, temple workers, and construction workers across Mumbai’s suburbs.
